Aspirin/Disprin mask for: Clear Skin, Clean Pores, Curing Acne & Much More! (With pictures)

When I first got to know that aspirin and disprin, apart from being consumed internally can also be used on The Face, I have to admit that I did not believe it at all.
I spent weeks researching whether this was for real or not!
After spending several days and nights reading about the safety of this mask, I finally decided to give it a try.
Before moving on how to make the mask, let me tell you why this thing works.

How does aspirin or disprin cure acne?
Aspirin and Disprin both consist of Salicylic acid.
Salicylic acid unclogs pores and increases cell turnover.
It penetrates deep inside pores and exfoliates them and unclogs the residue that causes acne.
And even if you don’t have acne, this will clean the pores to its very end.

Remember:
When you go to buy aspirin make sure that it is the uncoated one, because coated one won’t work.
The reason is that coated aspirin has a layer over it, that does not dissolve.
This is a coated aspirin:

The colour varies depending on each company.
I dissolved this one in water for 15 minutes, and the skin became soft enough to peel off:

Image

Image

LOL! i salvaged the pill.

Once, the skin is soft it's easy to peel it off.

After peeling the skin off.
Now this is the uncoated aspirin, if you want you can use this as well, but uncoated one is easily available as well.

Also, remember that there are different mgs of aspirin available in the market, if you have sensitive skin start with the lowest one available.

Method of preparation of the mask:

You Need:
• 2-3 tablets of aspirin or disprin, depending on the area that you want to apply this to.

Disprin.

Aspirin.

• A few drops of honey
• A few drops of clean water.
• A plate/bowl.

How to make this mask:
• Place the tablets in the plate or palm, like so:

OR

Image
• Now, add a few drops of water to it

Image
• I am using disprin here because I couldn't find aspirin.
• Once, it soaks all the water and starts rising up. This is how it looks:

add few drops of honey.

Image
• Mix well and apply on the entire face or just a patch, whatever you want.
• Once it dries, wash off with Luke warm water.
• Apply moisturizer, and you are done.

Image

Some Important points to keep in mind:
• Avoid going out in the sun after using this mask, as your skin will be more sensitive. The best time to use this mask is in the evening or at night.
• If you have sensitive skin, use it on a simple patch instead of the entire face to check out if this is okay for you.
• Use as low mg of aspirin as possible, the first time.
• Remember the effect of the mask is entirely on how strong the tablet is i.e. the stronger the aspirin the quick the results.
• This mask can be very drying, that is why we have added honey to it, so make sure that you don’t overdo this.
• Do not use this more than once or twice a week.

If you still have any questions, just leave them in the comments down below.

I hope you give this a try and let me know the results.
Thank you for reading.

Ciao! :)

Home made face pack for blemishes and acne scars.

As much as acne lowers one's self-esteem, so does blemishes and acne scars.

One moment you are happy that the monstrous zit is gone but as soon as you see the scar left behind all your happiness fades away.

Everybody wants clear and even skin, but with those stubborn acne scars it becomes difficult to achieve such skin.

Acne scars appear when a spot doesn't heal properly, for example: when you pop up a zit.

This pack will help those stubborn scars and blemishes fade away with time.

Things you will need:

  • Bowl and a spoon

Image

  • Sandalwood powder

Image

  • Rosewater.
  • Any clean brush to apply the mask (very, very optional)

Image

Method:

  • Take 1 to 1 & a 1/2 spoon of sandalwood powder in a clean bowl and add one spoon full of rose water in it.
  • Add more rose water until the mixture forms a medium consistency paste.
  • Apply this all over your face and neck.
  • Wash off after the pack starts drying, with cold water.

Sandalwood is very soothing and cooling on the face.

Rose water is an natural toner, hence it will help clean the pores of your skin well.

Together this mixture will calm the skin and the scars and help them heal.

Hope you give this a try.

Until next time. :)

DIY: Home made green tea ice cubes for summers with multiple benefits!

Hi sweet pea's,

Summers are near and it's not such a good news for girls.

You come back home after a tired day and feel lifeless beacuse of the devil above your head, The Sun.

All you want to do is splash some cold water on your face, but after few minutes the cold and soothing feeling is gone and you feel hot again.

hmmmm :/

I have a solution,

Remember green tea?

Ofcource you can drink it and stay young for years but i found this cool way to use this tea in summers and get glowing skin along with getting all the multiple advantages of green tea.

Benefits of green tea:

  • It is rich in antioxidants.
  • Protects skin from free radicals.
  • Is anti-ageing. Yay! :)
  • And gives skin a natural glow.

Now, let's begin and make this baby. :)

Ingredients:

  • Distilled or drinking water
  • Green tea.
  • Ice-cube tray
  • Refrigerator

Method:

  • Take 100ml water, you can take it according to your own choice. There is no hard and fast rule for the quantity of water.

Image

Image

  • Let the water start boiling.

Image

  • Add one teaspoon green tea to this, here i am using the one from lipton.

Image

The one that i used looks like this:

Image

  • Now let the green tea boil.

Image

  • Cover this with lid and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Image

  • Now turn off the knob, sieve this into a glass and let this cool for 10 minutes.

Image

 Image

  • After 10 minutes take an ice cube tray,

Image

  • and pour the liquid into this.

Image

  • Now put the tray into the freezer and leave it for at-least 5-6 hours before using.

Image

Tips:

  • I made 10 cubes with 100 ml of water, of course you can make more or less according to your own choice.
  • Don't worry there is no particular ratio of water to tea leaves, you can just eye the quantity out and alter the ratio according to your own liking.
  • Have fun while making these, take molds of different shapes for more innovation.
  • Use these cubes after washing your face.
  • This way, the tea ice cubes will close the pores and give a toning effect to your face.
  • This will save you time and you won't have to make tea again each day to gain it's benefits.
  • Refill the tray as soon as you are just left with two cubes to avoid delay.

I hope you try this at home, and tell me if you liked this idea. :)

Review: Himalya purifying neem face wash..

Today i am going to write a review of my absolute favorite face wash by The Himalya drug company.

Image

PRICE: Rs. 50 (indian rupees)

I have been using this face wash from the past few weeks and I LOVE IT! :)

What the product says:

Image

I don't have severe acne but my friend does.

She used this for a month and her acne/pimples started disappearing, so if you have acne and are looking for a mild cleanser this could help(oh, my friend has oily skin)

Pros:

  • It is soap free, so it's not harsh on your skin

  • It gently removes impurities and prevents pimples

  • It is anti-bacterial as it has neem

  • Made of natural ingrediants

  • Reasonably priced

  • Doesn't dry out skin(I have dry combination skin)

  • Good for acne/pimles

  • Mild on the skin

Cons:

Me and my friend couldn't find any! :)

I would rate this product 5/5 and would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I hope you found this helpful.

My next post will be a DIY lip scrub.

See you next time.

Byeee... :)
